Welcome to Tennessee SWANA! Our mission is to promote environmentally responsible and cost-effective management practices for all members of the solid waste industry and municipalities in Tennessee. Through education, advocacy, recycling, and training in solid waste management, TN SWANA aims to inform and guide the state of Tennessee in achieving positive environmental outcomes.
Tennessee SWANA provides education, communication on solid waste issues, and innovating solid waste practices in Tennessee. Our primary objectives are to grow and develop an active membership, improve and expand education and outreach, and offer improved professional development opportunities and training.
